Incredible job guys. Worth every penny. After looking at the Tradesman grinders for years, I finally decided to purchase one. I made the call to Jeff Toycen who patiently answered all my questions. He put together a package for me and it was delivered the same week. I have been fortunate enough to have owned numerous tools over the last 20 years, including Baldor high and slow speed grinders, as well as 2 Tormek machines.

I knew exactly what I wanted and had high hopes that this machine would deliver it all in a single package. After receiving the Edge , I can confidently say it is the most versatile, functional, and accurate grinder I have ever been around. I can hollow grind edge tools extremely fast and accurately with the CBN wheel, swap to a knife with a Tormek jig on the belt side with no change, and all with variable speed and reverse.

The way I deal with the instrument on the platinum is completely different. The way that the machine cuts is different than standard grinders. The amount of control that I was starting to learn to be able to gain was wild.

So I can tell you Dash the machine is different enough that it will take me a little getting used to and then I will have a much better product. I did notice that the scissors are coming out about twice as sharp as they had been from my previous set up. Thank you so much Jeff. I love it. Jeff, The Cuttermaster wheel you sent is doing great. I installed it on on one of the machines I cut pilots with and I noticed the excellent balance which I had missed using other wheels. With the longer life of your wheels they quickly become better value and do a better job. All I had gotten from you over the years were the best wheels on the planet. The machines are working out great. Very well designed and executed little machines; convenient, fast and precise results every time, all in a small shop area footprint.

I just want to tell you how great your Tradesman grinder is. I have the Tormek t7, the work sharp system and a conventional grinder with silicon carbide wheels.

The tradesman with CBN wheels running at a medium speed meets all my sharping needs in seconds with little dust, heat and most importantly no vibration, allowing me to keep the tool in contact with the wheel at all times.
