For instance the spend only includes outgoings so a failed transfer will show as a spend even though there is a corresponding credit of the same amount. Also other transactions such as reimbursed expenses or fees cannot be netted out of the analysis.
So although the tool may be helpful, it has far to go before it will be a really useful addition. I have been using Lloyds online for around 5 years now. I was pleased to hear about this tool being released.
I too have experienced alot of difficulties with the tool. These and other defects make the tool unusable for now, I hope they will fix it as I would like to be able to use this tool.

You can select periods of time by applying filters in the Spending Analysis tab. Just select the appropriate date range you can view a specific month or a whole year and click 'Apply'. You can split a transaction into categories. Then select the amount and category you want to assign to the split item and press the 'Save' button. You can assign a maximum of 5 splits per transaction item. You can categorise your transactions in two different places. To categorise one of the current month's uncategorised transactions, use the link at the bottom of the pie chart on the Spending Analysis page.
